About
What Is liki.hk
Liki is a Professional Skill for Chinese Metaphysics that combines artificial intelligence with traditional Chinese metaphysical culture, covering BaZi & ZiWei astrology, naming, divination, and Feng Shui analysis. Install with a single npx skills add command and use directly in your AI assistant. Liki believes that Chinese metaphysics, as cultural heritage, deserves a new expression in the AI era — not through mystification, but by letting ancient wisdom be re-presented through modern technology.
Technology & Methodology
Liki's system is built on a clean separation between deterministic computation and generative interpretation. The computational engine is responsible for mathematically precise calculations derived from the traditional Chinese Gan-Zhi sexagenary calendar system. This engine converts a user's Gregorian birth date and time — corrected to true solar time based on birthplace longitude — into the corresponding Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch for each of the Four Pillars (year, month, day, hour). From these pillars, the engine derives the complete set of traditional analytical components: the Ten Gods relational indicators, Hidden Stems within each Earthly Branch, Na Yin elemental classifications, Shen Sha spirit indicators, the Da Yun ten-year fortune cycle series, and seasonal adjustment factors. This computational layer operates deterministically — given the same input, it always produces the same output, and its algorithms are based on publicly documented traditional methods and astronomical calendar conversions. The generative layer — powered by a large language model — takes the structured output of the computational engine and produces the narrative interpretation that the user reads. The AI is guided by carefully designed prompts that anchor its output to the computed data while allowing it to draw on its broad training in Chinese metaphysical texts to contextualize and explain the findings in natural, accessible language. It is important to understand this division: the calculations are rule-based and reproducible; the interpretations are AI-generated and probabilistic. We are transparent about this distinction and do not claim that the AI's interpretive output carries the authority of a human practitioner or represents any single orthodox school of Chinese metaphysical thought.
Our Philosophy
The core philosophy of Liki: let Liki handle repetitive work, so practitioners focus on professional judgment. Charting, true-solar-time calculation, calendrical computation, rule execution, and report generation are handled by the engine — professional judgment and final decisions always belong to humans. We stay open-source and transparent: no mystified packaging; AI organizes and interprets metaphysical knowledge, encouraging users to think independently and judge rationally.
AI Ethics & Cultural Heritage
Liki follows responsible AI development principles. We transparently disclose the nature of AI-generated content without implying human expert authority. We do not claim to predict destiny, do not guarantee perfect results, and do not promote fatalism. Regarding cultural heritage: we view traditional Chinese metaphysics as part of Chinese cultural heritage, presenting it with respect and accuracy. Regarding AI training data ethics, we commit: user birth data and generated content will never be used to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any AI model.
Team & Background
Liki is developed by a cross-cultural team with expertise in software engineering, traditional Chinese metaphysics, and AI systems. Our technical team brings experience in building reliable, secure web services and working with large language models. Our metaphysical knowledge contributors include practitioners familiar with multiple schools of BaZi and naming traditions. We maintain relationships with cultural consultants to help ensure terminology accuracy and cultural appropriateness across our Chinese and English language offerings. liki.hk is an independent project; we are not affiliated with any religious organization, fortune-telling chain, or metaphysical school. Our funding comes from service fees paid by users, which supports ongoing development and quality improvement. We do not sell user data, run advertisements, or accept payment for biased results.
